⁴² Jesus *said to them, “Did you never read in the Scriptures,

¹⁰ Have you not even read this Scripture:

¹⁰ let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel, that ^[a](A)by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom ^(B)God raised from the dead—^[b]by ^[c]this name this man stands here before you in good health. ^11 [d](C)He is the ^(D)stone which was ^(E)rejected by you, the builders, but which became the chief cornerstone. ¹² And there is salvation in ^(F)no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among mankind by which we must be saved.”

As Living Stones

⁴ And coming to Him as to a living stone which has been ^(A)rejected by people, but is ^[a]choice and precious in the sight of God, ^5 (B)you also, as living stones, ^[b]are being built up as a ^(C)spiritual house for a holy ^(D)priesthood, to ^(E)offer spiritual sacrifices that are acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. ⁶ For this is contained in ^[c]Scripture:
